After printing two sample's or my hand in box I prefer the boarded image as I think it is easier on the eye. And I do not think it directly looks like a Polaroid photo as that is not the effect I want.

The Box Created Using Metallic Paper (left) is far more appealing.

This box was created using Metallic Paper- The foiling is slightly more successful and the shine adds to the whole effect.

With set of prints I put the foil and paper through a laminator and achieved a much better effect. The foil still hasn't perfectly transferred but it has been my best result to date.

Here is the original illustrator design for the box before I had to simplify the colours as to allow me to foil the surface.
